Thursday Tiu-s
Today is like a Monday,
The familiarity of waking up to the blues,
And somehow getting myself to work in a daze with seamless precision.
Today is like a Tuesday,
Where the work piles up,
And it just keeps coming with the endless ringing of the phones.
Today is like a Wednesday,
Neither hear nor there,
When is this going to stop.
Today is Thursday,
No longer a celebrated day of the week,
But one I am mourning over.
Today, is a tiu-day.
Today, truly is a tiu-day.
Today, sadly is a tiu-day.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
